Dip stick tube gromet?

while in the preocess of putting things back together after installing my new valve springs i noticed my dip stick tube was loose, real loose, infact i could pull the tube completley out! Im assuming that theres a gromet i need to replace so it'll stay stationary, any one got a GM PN for me or any other tips to take car of this would be aprreciated!

You'll have to order another dipstick tube from G.M., for the bracket that holds the tube to the block is an integral part of the tube.

There should be a bracket on the dipstick tube so you can bolt it to the block.
If the bracket is still on the tube then all you need is a bolt to fasten it back on, if the bracket broke off then you will need a new tube.

I think he's talking about the actual gromet on the block where the dipstick does in.

There's not one, is there? AFAIK, it's just an interference fit and no grommet (at least that's the way it's always been in the past).
