Dip stick tube gromet?
Dip stick tube gromet?
while in the preocess of putting things back together after installing my new valve springs i noticed my dip stick tube was loose, real loose, infact i could pull the tube completley out! Im assuming that theres a gromet i need to replace so it'll stay stationary, any one got a GM PN for me or any other tips to take car of this would be aprreciated!
There should be a bracket on the dipstick tube so you can bolt it to the block.
If the bracket is still on the tube then all you need is a bolt to fasten it back on, if the bracket broke off then you will need a new tube.

I think he's talking about the actual gromet on the block where the dipstick does in.
