Question Dimmer switch/guage problem

I'm running autometer guages and they all work properly. But my problem is my dimmer switch allows the guages to dim up or down but my actual dash does not. I've double checked everything and I still have the same end result. Anyone have any ideas? I'm getting pissed because it looks mighty gay at night w/ the guages workin but not the dash. Thanks.

Anyone got any ideas on this? What's weird is the dimmer switch will work for the external guages ie, tranny temp, boost etc as long as the wiring for the guages are hooked to the fuse but still the dash overlay won't dim. So if I run it unhooked to the fuse for the interior all is good but the dash still doesn't work. Help!!!

Sounds like a broken or loose wire. All I can say is run your wires. Start at the back of your dimmer switch and go from there, shouldn't be that much wire.
