Question Differences in PCV tubing b/w early and later LT1s?

...and yes, I did a search. I'm not a newbie.

I'm replacing my stock '94 intake with an LT4.

Apparently the PCV tubing in the later LT1/LT4 routes to the front of the intake under the TB instead of just making a u-turn as with my '94 intake.

I have the actual PCV valve.
I have the grommet.

So, I'm wondering if anyone knows the part number for the tube that routes to the front of the intake.

I can't seem to find that specific part, even after searching the part numbers at Shoebox's mecca of LT1 info.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Steve-o

As you detected, there is a difference between the early and late models, and there are also variations withing each year, depending on what emissions standards the engine had to meet.

Why are you changing your 94 from the U-bend to the routing that takes it to the front of the intake manifold. Not necessary, even with the change to the LT4 intake. I kept the original U-bend routing on my 94 with the LT4 intake. Just take the nipple for the U-bend "return" out of your LT1 intake, and move it over to the LT4 intake:

Ahhhhhh...

I see what you did. I was assuming there were no more fittings on the intake to which I could attach the other end of the u-shaped tube...

...but it looks like you used one fitting to "double" as the connection for your opti and the hose that goes to the EGR solenoid.

Where could I get one of those fancy "T" connectors for my opti and EGR hoses?

TIA...
