Differences between exhaust 95 and 96??

I know in 96 they put the dual cats on but what are the other differences between a headers system for a 95 compared to a 96?

96's don't have four O2 sensors

Only two front ones in the manifolds.. and one rear one after the cats.

So if I got a set of headers for a 96 they would work in my 95 huh? I don't have a cat either.

Er, yes they do. Two in the front and two behind the cats. You've been grossly misinformed

I'm doing my headers right now.. I removed all my old exhaust... I only disconnected 3

Two in the manifolds.. and one that went in after my cats... wtf?

Edit: Anyone have pics of a stock 96 SS exhaust? Maybe Canadian ones are different??

Depends on the type of headers and the y-pipe used.

The engines are both LT1's so any manifold that will bolt up to a 96 will bolt up to a 95 and vice versa. Most have o2 sims in place of the rear o2 sensors or have the rear ones programmed out (I did this) and so that takes care of that. Basically, if you don't care about emissions then any manifold will be fine.. now if you plan on bolting those headers up to a stock exhaust system you'll have to buy the appropriate y pipe.. but I'd say that you should ditch all the stock tubing if you're gonna install headers.
