Difference in quality for Brake Rotors?

I went to the parts store to buy new rear rotors for my car and they had 2 different brands. One was about $25 for the 2 and the other was like $75. I forget the brand names but is there a diffence in quality between the 2? The guy at the counter said that the cheap ones could warp quick but I thought that was just BS to get me to buy the more expensive ones. What do you guys think? thanks.

depending on your driving you should be able to keep them from warping stay away from pudles of water after hard breaking, when breaking hard hold the breaks down dont pump them, when you stop release the brakes because the pressure on the hot rotors will warp them, and when going down hills use engine braking......do the speed limit

I just replaced all 4 of mine with the cheaper ones. they still seemed pretty heavy duty, and so far they are working great

I asked the same question when I bought my rotors. I was told the rotors are made at the same factory and then name brands are stamped on them. I don't know if that was the truth, but my cheap ones have out lasted my expensive *** slotted rotors.

Yeah, I think I'll just get the cheap ones, I am low on money and if they get warped, I can still buy 3 sets for the price of one of the other.

guys I just checked the prices of rotors at Partsamerica.com and one thing I noticed ..... the warranty for the expensive rotors is only like 3 months while the cheap ones have a one year or even lifetime...

is that a hint or what...
