took off steering gear for header install. When I put the linkage back on I aligned the bottom bolt to the green painted groove on the steering stem. Up top a tiny bit of space was peeking out that I could see the bolt channel on the steering shaft that comes from the firewall. I totally hope this makes sense & I'm not confusing anyone. I just hope that I bolted it enough up the top cuz I see a little bit of the bolt channel up top if you know what I mean. What matters the most I think is that the bottom is bolted all the way down and that bolt grabs that groove. I tried as carefully and hard as I could to get the top pushed up and bolted and I just gave up and bolted it where it was. Like I said, a little bit of that bolt channel is seen from the top and i was wondering if that was alright? I just dont wanna bang it up cuz if it collapses then Im ganna put a bullet in this car! ha ha j/k...Anyhow.... let me know what yall did and what it looks like.
