Delteq has it's own ignition control and coil modules, I don't see any use for the MSD. Mine doesn't use the stock coil, the control box actually mounts in place of the coil. Yeah it's the Caddy Northstar/Olds Aurora V-8 setup. You may be able to get the system cheaper by purchasing the Delteq control parts, and buying your own ignition module & coil packs, I got those parts for $100 on eBay, and then the Delteq parts run about $347 last I checked.

Define "my MSD." Ignition control box? Pro-Billet Optispark? What?

If you want to piece meal your Delteq together I've got a set of brand new coils never used for sale. I had them as a spare.

I pieced mine together 4 yrs ago and saved a little change in the process.
I've got a brain box too I could sell you as well.

Shoot me an email if interested.

Thanks guys, I was talking about my MSD 6AL. I'm pretty sure I'll have to ditch the box...

You can get all of the ignition control of the 6AL back if you swap it with an MSD DIS-4.
