You can't use the 685 with either ignition system...

I allready have a MSD Dig-6 for my Nitrous retard. Is that ok to use instead of the Dig-4? So I would be better off going with the LTCC setup right?

Re: delteq or ltcc

I'd go with LTCC, I'm a happy owner of one, plus I can't have a delteq because is fires 2 cylinders at once one on the exhaust stroke, I run my car pretty rich for drivability reasons I find it best that way so if I had an ignition system that was firing at the exhaust stroke it would probably light the mixture again LOL

You can not use any ignition box with the LTCC, you can ONLY use the DIS-4 for the Delteq setup.

Re: delteq or ltcc

I have the delteq system and i also have a Accel 300+ ignition. So there isnt any way to run that with it? Would it be worth it to run the ignition? Just curious.

Re: delteq or ltcc

Can't use the 300 + it's one ignition system or the other. I'm replacing my 300+ as well but just in case my delteq gives me headaches I'll put the old setup back on.

Re: delteq or ltcc

Let's be REALLY CLEAR about this.
You CAN'T USE ANY ignition box with either system with the one exception of the DIS-4 from MSD with the Delteq.

I hope that explains it well enough.

Re: delteq or ltcc

I put my LTCC on about a week ago and it's worked flawlessly, plus my MPG has picked up considerably. Last tank I got 250 miles out of a tank, before the LTCC I only got 190-200 and that was with a opti, plugs & wires change last August. Definatly worth IMHO and it'll be nice to have once I go FI.

Re: delteq or ltcc

The ignition boxes won't interface with a multi coil setup. The DIS-4 will work with a 4 coil setup but not an 8. The regular ignitions are all made for a single coil interface.
