Deltec, do you still need aftermarket Ignition box still?

Just wondering if you still have to run an aftermarket Ing. box or is the spark strong enough now with the added coils? I am thinking of getting one of these setups when I put my motor back in. So far what is everyones opinion on the Deltec system anyways? Thanks...........John.

You dont really need it, but if you do... you have to use ones designed for waste spark ignitions such as an MSD DIS-4

Well right now I run an Accell 300+ digital ing. box. But I don't know if it has that option. Can someone please clear this up for me. Thanks again for the quick post.....John.

no, you cant use that ignition. The accel 300+ is for a single coil ignition, not a 4 coil.

The deltec comes with everything you'll need..Coils, module, all the hook-ups, and even plug wires fitted for this setup..You can either mount it on the valve cover or under the radiator..I have one, I know a lil about this..
