I did my opti swap without even thinking of bumping my motor so that #1 or #6 were at TDC. Here's my question...Will my timing be off? I made sure i put my new opti back in the exact same place as the old one. I triple checked to make sure i put the same slot on the opti with the stud on the cam. In my mind, if i put the new opti back in place of where the old one left off, my timing should be ok...or maybe i am missing something.
I am waiting for my tranny to get done being rebuilt, so i cant fire her up quite yet. I really hope i dont have to tear it apart again.
thanks

Just bolt it back on; you will be fine!

OTOH Quick96Z, it sounds like you put it on correctly as long as you put the special slot of the opti drive over the dowel pin. It does not matter what position the dowel pin is in, as long as you do it that way.
