used my old boots from my old wires for the MSD wires. Wll got the driver side all hooked up. Tried started the car. No start. Just turns over and over and over. Looked at the coil wire. Looks fine to me, but no start.


Would it matter if i had 8mm on one side and 8.5mm on the other?

 

I wouldn't think that that would prevent the car from starting.
At the very worst, it might make it run rough.

The fact that it keeps turning and not starting tells me that the wires are either on the wrong plugs or the coil is not connected or firing.
I'd double-check those first. Check for blown fuses as well.

Do you hear any ticking? And is the fuel pump starting when you put the key in?

 

it was the iginition coil wire. It wasnt touching the nipple on the opti.

 

Id rahter change spark plugs than do these damn wires.... lol

Now go blow a tank of gas enjoying the car and you will feel much better

After I did my headers, I installed OTVC wires.
Hopefully this will be the last time I have to do plugs/wires for a long long time.
