"Weight is 9.25 lbs."

I'm assuming that's not including the weight of the hub? Add the weight of the hub that you already have and compare to

<http://www.atiracing.com/products/dampers/charts/damserp.htm>

The ATI aluminum serpentine shell @ 4.5 lbs. and the aluminum hub @ 1.4 lbs.

or,

The ATI steel shell @ 9.75 lbs. and steel hub @ 2.9 lbs.

Or race engines up to 7500 RPM, I prefer the lighter unit. ATI Tech advised me against the aluminum unit for more serious RPM. On the street, I doubt that you'd ever notice the difference.
