Daily drivers and 400 NA rwhp inside please.
I'm curious to see what kinda set-ups you NA guys with at least 400 rear wheel ponies are putting down on your cars, preferably A4's. The current plan for the car is a 355 that I would like to spray a heavy dose on top of but although I won't be driving the car every day, I want to be able to do that if need be. I'm looking for the usual "daily driver" characteristics; retain AC, fuel efficiency ect. I'm shooting for 400 NA, a few more on the jug. Also what kinda times are you fellas runnin?
I have sticky tires, stall, gears and a newly built tranny good for this power so other than my rear, I just have to worry about making the power. The goal is a street practical daily driven car that turns good numbers and has good street manners. Is this feasible?

I am at 392, with a cam change happening this winter. As for streetability, I have a 3 speed and I drive that sucker wherever I want. I drove it 150 miles to Detroit for Woodward, and 225 miles to St Ignace. No problem. Fuel loses a little, but even the 225 was done on 1 tank of gas. My times I dont have as I washed the rings out of the motor before I went to the track and got good times. The fuel pressure regulator blew out and my fuel pressure shot to 80 psi. So wont have times till this year. But it is totally doable. Hell, I do it with a 4200 Coan on a 3 speed.

So if you are interested e-mail me. Later Clint
