Cyl. Head steampipe hardline alternative?

I want to get rid of the hardlines that connect each head(in the back) up to the front..I saw something on ebay where they used braided hose instead of the pipe and it looked good. Is there anyway I could do this? Maybe by having fittings put into the heads and running the hose from there?? Any ideas...?

All you need is an adapter from the theads in the back of the head to the -AN size line you want to run.

The threads on the back of my heads were stripped, so i drilled and retapped them at a size bigger NPT pipe thread. I put a 90 degree on the driver head, and a T at the passenger head, and ran rubber radiator hose.

If you do a search on here you will find a large thread discussing this. It can be done you just need to find the right threaded elbow for the an lines to plug in to the heads.

just tap them out to a pipe thread and get the right adapter either a 4 or a 6 will work fine. if you are trying to srew a fiiting in the stock threads it wont work...the pipe thread seal on itself with tapered threads

like the guy said if you search you will find what you need, there was a lot of disc. on this topic
