cyclinder head 12555690

what can any one tell me about these heads? they are brand new with no valves in them and the guy wants $400 for them. can i use them on a 94 lt1? where are they from and what is special about them or are they just stock heads.

LT4 should flow better than lt1 casting but you'll need an intake

The LT4 heads will outflow LT1 heads by about 17%, stock vs. stock. Should be easier to port them to over 300cfm than an LT1 head, but who knows with the magic that some of the porters are working on the LT1 castings these days.

mine are on my street car with a cam and headers with my stock LT1 intake and tb doing low 12's

price getting the valves/springs/retainers/studs and assembly w/ valve job then compare to a decent used ported pair...
