CVR (or any other adjustable starter) indexing
I put my CVR starter on last night. To get it to fit with my MAC headers, I had to rotate the motor/solenoid assembly all the way around (it's now upside down). It's an 8 way adjustable type. It fits like that, but it's now VERY close to my Y-pipe. Anyone else using this combination, or any other adjustable starter? How close is it you your Y-pipe?

I've got min rotated down so it will stay cool. No problem with the collector/custom Y-pipe on my AS&M's.

Those are tranny cooler lines hanging under the starter.

My old CVR starter was the same way on my 91. You may want to wrap it or put a heat shield on it. If not, Invest in a remote silinoid and you won't have to worry any more. The silinoids are crappy on them. Mine died in 6 months and they wanted to charge me $90 to fix it. BS! Just to let you know.
