Ok, I was wanting to know the answer to a question that has been bugging me for over a year now. I own a 93 Z28 w/ gutted cat and a cut out. Ever since day one some people have been saying that I will burn my valves to crap by running a cut out open all the time. Is there any truth to that statement? Any info is much appreciated.

Seriously, valves cant burn out its a peice of metal with no mechanical parts. What the hell is going to burn out? it can warp if you do something stupid like run open heads... but its wont burn out like a clutch or something...

 

Yea, that's what I thought. Thanks for the info! As for warping.....I guess I need to replace those bolts that are broken in the head.....that rasping noise isn't going away. Anywho, thanks again.
