I am really low on money (i'm only 15), but would rlly like one that I can switch back and forth easily........what should i get???

when i was 15 i had a bicyle :P
jp with ya hehe...
cutouts are all the same, doesnt matter what u get (unless u get an electric one which is not so cheap) a cutout will run ya 30-40 and maybe 40 or so to get it put on...

If you get a e-cutout either get a DMH or Qtec. The DMH is the best out of the 2. Don't get a Mccord cutout though. People have a lot of problems with the motors dieing on them and there customer service is horrible
thanx man, f*** the books tho...haha. i was wondering tho if this cut-out that i found on ebay will be good or not. it is like $60 bucks and has a flex cable or somethin so u can flip it back and forth....is that one that i would be able to use???....or is it a load of bs??
I love the sound of mine open but with SLP headers and no cat it is too loud for me to drive around town with. I've got the McCord Power Plate and "so far so good" (6 months) and it's nice to be able to flip a switch at the track or on the street when I'm in the mood.
dude, im telling you, save your money, buy a $30 cutout and take the extra 30 seconds to cap it by hand....yeah, the eletric is cool, but IMO its not worth $150 for something that will stay open for a majority of the time. Since ive had mine, ive capped it once, and that was for smog. Use the extra hundred bucks to buy a CAI or something

or just save $120+ bucks, but a flowtech cutout and spend 30 seconds or however long it takes you to screw on 3 wing nuts.

Talk about bang for the buck. And i actually like the sound of mine now, it just seemed to loud at first.
I had a cut out on my 94z with no cat and headers. The car also had a hot cam and it sounded so mean running with the cut out uncapped. I did get sick of the interior rattling. I also think it was affecting my hearing
