Custom Radiator regarding coolant sensor??

Doing a custom Griffin radiator here in the next few weeks since I plan to Cut the rad support and give me another 8-10 inches of room in the engine bay. Here is a pic of a Friends car http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...Picture107.jpg

The radiator he is using is http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
but of course its not setup for a Reverse cool setup. So I plan on having Griffin weld on a 6an fitting under the radiator cap (Steam line setup since I am running braided line from the back of the heads ) and on the bottom of the same side I want them to make a drain plug like this one http://www.rondavisradiators.com/O-RING-DRAIN-5.jpg or a 1/4 NPT with a Fitting I can pull out http://www.rondavisradiators.com/bung.jpg
To drain coolant from the radiator if needed.
I plan on bypassing the tranny cooler lines that are on the radiator so those will not be needed.

The Question is do I need the Coolant temperature Sensor on the radiator, the only thing its used for is to give you a WARNING LIGHT am I Correct???
The sensor in the Block (on the head or waterpump I can't remember) Controls the actual coolant level on the guage wether its 180 or 210 etc???
AM I CORRECT ON THIS, I want to order one up ASAP.

There is no coolant TEMP sensor on the radiator. There is a coolant LEVEL sensor on the radiator and its only for the dash "low coolant" warning light, affects nothing else.

There is no coolant TEMP sensor in the block. The coolant TEMP sensor on the water pump housing feeds the PCM the coolant temp. The coolant TEMP sensor in the drivers side head feeds the dash coolant temp gauge.

There is no coolant LEVEL gauge, only a coolant TEMP gauge and a low coolant LEVEL warning light.

Thanks Fred, I am not worried about having the provision built in for the rad since it just gives me the warning light (I look at my guages enough anyways)
