It was all generic parts in terms of the pulleys got them from summit for about $20-30 a piece and then machined as needed to meet my needs.
Mount plates were made with material I just had sitting around my garage.
I have seen that bracket before by carolina speed shop it was almost like a motor plate but had the proper spots for which accessories you wanted it was nice but was a bit large and costly.

I knew this could be done. Now I got a winter project, thanks!!!! Exactly what I had in mine, but needed the added bump to figure out the pulley for the PS side of things.
I already have a low mount Alt kit, now I just need to get the PS set up done....
What would you say is the total cost (pulleys, machining, and if you were to have to by material)?

Wait a second....on my 30 minute drive home i reviewed the pic and thought about my process of trying to do a similar design and I take it that this has not actually been tested but just mocked up on the stand. If it has been tested and works then the answers to the questions will be simple!!
Does the LT1 F-body stock pump work in Clockwise and counter clockwise?
B/c if my thinking is right, the stock pump rotates counter clockwise.
with this set up it is rotaing clockwise, just like the crank. Am I right?
When I was thinking about this I was trying to figure out my options on a clockwise pump and then figured the cost of a new pump to rotate correctly would outweigh the benefits.
Now if the pump actually works in the configuration, then I got a better solution and not having to machine anything. It would just require a piggy back UD pulley and offsetting parts to line up the belts with either the alt or PS pump.
I really like this idea, I hope there is a way to make it work....
I also wondered if the LS1 pump rotated clockwise, if so, there might be a cheap option....but I dont know the belt routing of the LSx motor and have not taken the time to look it up...
Please offer feedback from those that know....

You are correct about it being a different direction now that I am thinking of it. Guess I would have found that out the hard way. Looks like I will have to think up something else. I suppose I would switch the inlet and outlets as to where they are going but one is low side one is high side. I am not to sure the pump would even work if I added a threaded fitting into the pump to switch the inlet/outlet.
Anyone know how the pump works internally if it is capable of being switched around?

Are there any PS pumps out there that turn clockwise? that are not huge?
And I would think you could add threaded parts but not sure that just changing hose 'structure' is going to solve the issue.

I am currently trying to look up if they make a clockwise rotation pump so that I do not have to make another belt setup. That pump style is a GM type II. I am trying to remember what other cars have it and how the belt setup is. Old style pumps with the resivor attached are just to big but do have clockwise rotation, but that would also mean another mount to make.
See what happens. I can still drive for the meantime with no PS possibly till I figure out something, it is just a play car not my main DD anymore.

From what I can see there is a metering device internally which limits pressure to the rack, not positive for sure that is what it is limiting but would make sense. So reversing the fittings is out of the question. See where this takes me now.

Looks like I might try a LS1 style. Buddy of mine has a new one off of another vehicle but same style so I will take a look at that and see how it will fit up. Resivour is on top of the pump for the LS1 style pump, about the size of a fist he says.

there should be plenty of cars with a clockwise rotation type 2, look into fwd cars if needed, I am pretty sure any 2.8/3.1/3.4 EFI fwd car has a pump you can use

Take this for whatever it's worth, but I went and dug up one of my Street & Performance catalogs from '96. Went through and studied all their P/S bracket configurations for both L-98 (type II) and LT1 (type III) motors. They had bracket kits that situated the pump to where the belt would turn the pulley in either direction for both of these motors.

Guess I will have to look under some hoods and see what I can find. Thanks for the help I would rather not have to buy another pump or make a new bracket.

Here is my idea on this set up....if the PS pump config can be figured out, why could you not use a piggy back style UD pulley set up, rather than custom work at a machine shop and making sure it was centered and all that?
Run one off the stock dampner and run the other off the UD set up.
Thinking that some UD set ups create charging problems then you could run the Alt off the stock balancer and then run the PS pump off the UD side.
This solves the 2 pullies needed, then you are just looking for 2 6rib belts of short lengths.
If the PS thing can be figured out I will put the piggy back style on my car over the winter, I got a bolt on record to go get on Nov 5th....
