CSI Pump Wiring

Whats the best way yall would recommend to wire this pump up? All the people that wire them into a switch do they turn the pump on the whole time the car is running? Or just when it reaches a certian degree? It will be on a street drivin car so whats the best way to go about this...

Re: CSI Pump Wiring

Mine's powered through a 40A relay, triggered off the Fuel-Injector fuse located in the under-hood fusebox.

Thus whenever the key is in the run position, the pump is running.

I agree with the 40A relay. Mine's setup on the ignition fuse though.

Re: CSI Pump Wiring

Do not rely on your memory to turn a switch on. It also needs to be on all the time. Might as well be. When your car gets to operating temp, temps would go up in a hurry without a pump.

I have mine on a separate circuit dedicated for it. A wire with an inline fuse coming off the battery post. And a relay with the switch wire hooked to something that is on when the key is in run position.
