CSI or Meziere??????

I am replacing the opti so I am going to also put on an elecric water pump. Which is better CSI or Meziere or are they the same. Is there a reason that the CSI is cheaper. Hope ya'll have some personal experiences.

I used the mezeire on a 383 Imp SS i built, and the CSI on mine. Both cars everyday drivers, both pumps worked great. I would go CSI just b/c of cost, and its a bit shallower (more clearance)

I like my Meziere, I have no issues with it. I don't have any experience with the CSI.

How many hours does the CSI pump last? How much hp does it free up?

It would free up the same amount as the Meziere

They say Jobber $170, but they're ~$135 from Summit.

3500 hours/50K miles of everyday use.

Another vote for CSI. Mine has been running fine for the last year and a half or so driving ~250 miles a week.

Also on that first CSI link, at the bottom of the page, it said all there pumps need hose adapters. Does the meizure need this too. I thought it was a direct bolt on into our housting?
Peace

I've held both side by side. THe CSI is MUCH shorter than the Meziere. Maybe a pound or two lighter as well.
