CSI electr. wp problem

I was doing the final things on my -95 Camaro this weekend, had it rebuilt and pp heads and new cam and so on.

Well, after I filled it up with coolant I noticed something dripping under the car.
It was coolant dripping from the new CSI pump. It leaks in the border between the metal casing where the bolts are and the black housing where I guess the electrical motor is. So it doesnt leak between the pump and the original pump housing which I first thought.

Anybody had this cind of leak before? How can it leak here on a new pump?

Picture of where the leak is:

Frustrating having the finished car just standing there....

If only the leak could have been between the pump and the original housing then I could have fixed it myself...but when it's in the actual pump itself..."new" and all...just venting some steam.

Note:
Yesterday when I went ant took the picture above it had stopped dripping though, and it wasn't that much coolant in the container I had put below, maybe a couple of centiliters...so I dont know...I think I'm going to connect the battery and run the pump to see if it starts leaking again...

That's what I would do...run the pump again and see if you can confirm that that is where it is leaking from. I have heard of one, maybe two people that have problems with the CSI leaking. If you give CSI a call, they should be able to help you out, since you may have a defective pump.

My CSI does not leak at all...good luck.

Yeah, that is what I'll do after work today.
Just to clarify, I haven't run the pump yet, it leaked while just filling the coolant up in the radiator, so I haven't put the system under any pressure yet...

Went and ran the pump the other day...and yep, still leaks at the same spot. Called CSI...had to send it there.

The not so good thing is that I will have to pay the shipping costs to them myself...and since I'm in Sweden that will be alot.

I hate paying more money to actually get a pump that works (without leaking) because that is what I should have got from the start.
