Cruise/wiper/turn signal switch/lever change

How much of a job is it to change on a '94 TA? The cruise control has been working sporadic for a while and now it doesn't work at all any more. Wipers and turn signals work fine.

Does anyone know of a web site that may have instructions? Any help would be appreciated.

TIA

You unplug the connector and it is my understanding that you pull straight out on the lever and it will unsnap from the switch.

When you reinstall it, make sure the wiper switch is in the off position.

I've done it and it was a PITA, You have to twist slightly and I had to pull so hard I thought something was gonna break, Once I had the old one off I took it on and off a few times and it was easier. If you don't put it back on right your intermittent wipers won't work.

So what you're saying is the lever DOES unsnap from the column? You have a '94 Z, which I assume would be the same internally (column) as the TA.

IT should just pull straight out. If you had to force it, you probably weren't pulling straight on it.

Sorry about the delay, I have a spare steering column and I looked at it again, You pull the lever straight out, But when I put it back in I had to spin it around to get the intermittent wiper part to work right, Kinda trial & error.
