Cruise Control Help

About a 6 mo ago, my cruise control stopped working. This was after I had to get my head gaskets replaced. Is there anything that the dealership(where i got it done) could have done to fock it up?? If so, what should I try first???

Sure they could have done anything. Could be as simple as they left the cable disconnected on the throttle body. Have you checked fuses? The cruise system is very complex and logical troubleshooting instructions are numerous.

We encourage people to "search" for solutions to their problems. Appears whaleboy has correctly done so. Hence, pulling up a 7 year old post.

What's the problem?

Does your ABS work properly

I believe the ABS has to work for the cruise to work. Is your ABS INOP light on?

As far as the 7 year old post is concerned. I wouldn't respond to the post in trying to solve it as your first post did.

However a question is acceptable.

Re: Cruise Control Help

The ABS does not have to work for the cruise control to work.
