cruise control box, can I just remove it?

cruise control box, can I just remove it?

My cruise control has not worked on my car since I got it and I am at a point to where I'd just like to remove it. I need the space for my air-filter assembly from my turbo.

Will I have any ill effects if I remove it?

Its fine without it, we had to gank mine for room for the intercooler piping before.

Ive got a replacement cruise control box right here, but I can't find the darn box to replace it with! lol

took mine out when i took my ASR motor assembly out, no problem here, it makes a good place to wire up your CSI wp

oh BTW the cc box is located underneath the frame on the driver's side toward the front
