Crate motor options for 1995 Z28???
Actually he missed a LOT of details that will add up to a LOT more money.
Keep reading for 6 more months before you buy anything. The information you are getting sofar is mediocre you need to put some time in and figure out who posts good info, then pick a car and copy it.

It takes a LOT of reading to understand who is posting good info and really that should be the first thing folks do here.
A huge number of guys post to get praise for their mediocre setups and to get others to copy them.
Look for signatures, results and maybe at a person's old posts to see if the setup has lasted 3 months or 3 years, maybe get a feel for if it is 3K miles or 20K miles. Do pictures of their cars have skinnies and all or is their "race" setup with a 60lbs tire/wheel combo up front just bolton slicks in back and go.
I know you don't want a "race" setup but looking at things like this still says a lot.
When you see two truely street cars and they both run about the same times but one has a $10K engine and the other has a junkyard engine with $3000 worth of heads/cam valvetrain, which guy would you trust more to help you get the best bang for the buck?
I disagree with a LOT of what has been said but mine is the minority opinion so I wont bore you with it or start the fight.
I will however say go look on YouTube and find some videos of Lucas injector spray patterns compared to just about anything else. Does it look like good atomization to you? Now if you are questioning that bit of info on what part to use, how much of the rest of it should be suspect?
Far as exceptionally basic parts missing from the list, valvetrain and fuel pump, more too it but this should be enough of a wakeup to get the OP to do more indepth reading.
I am trying to "teach a man to fish" here.

Thanks Dwayne. I appreciate the candid insight and response. I'm pretty well versed in sifting through the various responses that are provided. Knew that asking for suggestions and guidance with this car would yield all types of responses and suggestions. As I read them and research on my own, hopefully I'll be able to put together an effect game plan that will yield the results that I'm looking for. I've been on the corral (Mustang site) since 1999 so the "variety" of responses is just part of the forum experience
It does seem that AI and FE make a solid top end setup for the LT1, no?

I see this is a really old thread - are you still here? still have the Gen4 camrao? I need to upgrade mine, I have oil in the coolant so I'm pulling the motor and planning a rebuild. planning on boring it .2 over, cam, rollers, heads.. keeping it naturally aspirated and installing a Torqhead24. lemme know thoughts..
