Crankshaft Pulley Bolts Removal?

Question Crankshaft Pulley Bolts Removal?

Im having trouble keeping the crankshaft pulley from moving while i try to remove the 3 bolts. Is there any tips that you guys can give me? Im trying to change the opti. My car is an automatic.

Impact wrench works wonders. Or take off the converter inspection cover (4 bolts) and wedge a block of wood in the flywheel (just don't forget to take it out).

What ramair said, I use a breaker bar, PB Blaster and a wedge.

Im taking it you dont have any air tools?

Well if you put a socket on the crankshaft bolt in the center,this will give you a good grasp on the hub not turning. then break the 3 bolts loose, PB blaster will be your friend if you let it soak for 10 min with a few blast while waiting.

Wedging wood into the converter area is not a good idea in my opinion. But every one has there own way of doing it without the proper tools. good luck with what ever you choose
