Crankshaft Help

Hey,
I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a good 4340 3.48 or 3.50 stroke crank at a good price. I've been looking at ebay and saw C.A.T. cranks for 300 or so are these good cranks?? they are forged. But if anyone can give me some info it'l help alot.
Thanx

Re: Crankshaft Help

How much can you spend? They should all handle power you wish to make, but the quality of the forging and final maching is determined by price. CAT has trouble with final dimensions being off by more than .002" and Eagle typically has taper on the journals, I have had pretty good luck with Scat.

The cheap cranks worst to best CAT, Eagle, Scat.

You get what you pay for.
