Unhappy Cranks but won't start...no spark??

Ok it's my 94 LT1 in the Silverado pickup! I did the checks on Shoeboxes tech page. It doesn't say, what if all the readings were good? The only one that concerns me, is the ohms. It says 8000 for a stock coil, but less for an aftermarket one, I got about 2300 ohms. Is this bad? I already eliminated the 6al by unhooking it, same deal no start. I've got a coil pulse signal of 2 or more volts ac. Any way to test the ICM's? I think it's gotta be either the coil or ICM. I just drove to Fl. from N.J. and prior to that, I put in a new MSD6al ign. box, msd 8226 coil, and a new ICM. I broke down and found that the coil wire-opti was bearly on, and the plastic terminal on opti was cracked. I had a spare opti, so I just swapped it out, due to the broken terminals. I also found 1 plug wire had been in two pieces! The truck just shut off going down the highway! Could it be that, the coil wire jumping such a huge gap, + one wire probably arching on something under there, has damaged either the coil or the ICM? The terminal for the coil wire, is quite burnt up too on the opti. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!! Anyone out there who can answer these few questions, thanks a lot in advance!!!

What have you checked?

Have you verified fuel pressure?

Have you pulled a plug to see if you are getting spark?

Thumbs up

Yeah I got fuel pressure. And yes, I pulled a plug and got nothing, not even a faint spark. OK here's the update! It must have been what I suspected, that the coil probably just got overheated and burned up or something like that, from jumping such a gap. I could have sworn I had a spare coil and ICM, but I'll be damned if I could find em' here yet. I figured 50/50 shot, so I shlepped on over to shlep boys and picked up a stock coil. Swapped it out in like 2 minutes.........it fired right up! I have to say though, the shlep boys down here sucks! Up north they stock the minor MSD stuff like coils, etc. but NOT down here! Not only that, but they told me they couldn't even get the ICM, or LT1 water pump gaskets, I had to go to advance auto for the gaskets. Thanks for the quick reply anyway, much abliged. I really needed my truck back too. I'm getting a ton of work down here already, and it's not easy carryin' saws & **** like that on a bike!!!
