Crank Shaft Sproket key!!!

Do I have to have a key on the crankshaft to hold the timing sproket on or is it just pressed on?

Thanks

Shawn

So I just line the gey hole up with the notch in the crank timing gear and press it on?

Thanks

Whoops, didnt read it all the way through. Yes there is a key on the sprocket and on the shaft itself. There is no key on the hub itself.

You also must have the correct cut-back key for the year LT1 you have. 93-95 uses one key and 96-97 uses another.
