crank question

I'm using a stock crank for my 355. I have noticed on my old crank it has a brass looking fitting in the rear end for the little trans shaft to fit in while the one I'm using has little a little needle bearing? Both cranks are out of a 6 spd car and my question is which do I use? Where do I get a new one? I'm pretty sure that I'll tear up the brass one if I try to get it out of the old crank, and the newly machined one looks like it was missing a couple needles in the bearing...WTF

Re: crank question

1994-1997 clutch pilot roller bearing part number 14061685 $7.47 Make sure it is in good shape I would for sure put in a new one. I once tore a car apart to replace one. That sucked as i was in a hurry to get er done.
