Pistons go out through the top of the block, not the oil pan. You could, I guess, pull the heads and pan. hone the cylinders in place and reassemble it. I don't think that's a good idea considering that the engine should be cleaned after honing and you can't do that well in place. Before you start buying rings and figuring out how to installl them, do a leakdown test and make sure it's really the problem.

ok i want to thank you for all your help man. i want to larn all this stuff and do it my self so i will buy the stuff to do a leak down test but when i do what do i look for. and i still need to find out how the gas is in my oil lol, you told me to check the vack line on the fuel regulator but i could not find it lol i need to learn fast i just spent about 3500 on this motor and thingd to make the car look better. this is not like all the 4 cyl cars i have had they were easy to work on lol. but i love the hell out of this car.

i wanted to ask all of you if i have an exshaust leak will that make the car run rich and over load on fuel. will it make it possibel for gas to get in the oil.
