crank pulley

is there a lot of vibration coming from the engine??

Did you check the bolt that holds the crank hub to the crankshaft and the three bolts that hold the pulley to the hub? Thats the only thing i can think of that would allow movement in the crank pulley. The crankshaft itself couldn't be moving that much without slinging oil and pistons everywhere. Keep us posted, you have me curious now.

yea there isnt vibration, and ill check the bolts and let u know if that does anything but if theyre tight i dont know what else to do.

ok so the stupid mechanic didnt tighten the bolts down enough so i tightend them up as much as i could and it doesnt move when i push on it so it should be good then.hopefully.

Which ones were loose? Make sure all 4 bolts are tight(3 pulley and 1 hub)

why did he have the pulley off of it in the first place?

and if he is to dumb to tighten a pulley that could potentially destroy some things, you need to do your own wrenchin or go to a new shop.

Its a good thing someone noticed it before you chewed up the end of your crankshaft. I would check it often to make sure its not working loose. You may need to take the bolt out and put some thread locker on it.

and use a good impact to make sure its nice and tight.

i put an ud pulley on and ill keep an eye on the pulley to make sure it doesnt back out.
