Crank Hub Puller

Hello,
Trying to change my cam on my 93 LT1 motor. Have removed the harmonic balancer but cannot find the correct puller to remove the crank hub. It will take a sturdy puller for the job??

Appreciate anyones help,
AL

Re: Crank Hub Puller

Any tool that is made to pull off a hub should work. Did u take the hub bolt out and put a 3" Allen head bolt in there so that the puller has something to push off against. Either the steering wheel/balancer puller or the claw type puller would work.

Re: Crank Hub Puller

Just go get you a "crowsfoot" puller. It'll work fine.

Re: Crank Hub Puller

Thanks to both responses. The allen head bolt is a great suggestion. I should be able to get it with that.
Appreciate the advice.
