Crank hub

How do I remove the crank hub? I tried an impact gun with the puller and no luck. I really want to put it all back together, any ideas?

Make sure you are not pushing against the back of the inside of the hub itself to get it off. You might put a screw in the threaded crank hole and push against that.

Well I put the crank hub bolt in a bit and used that but all that did was tighten it back up in the crank.

I used a tool similar to this:

when I removed mine yesterday. I think a steeringwheel puller will work.

Just some ideas.

So you put a screw in the crank to push against but small enough so the crank hub can slide past?

Something like that. A hardened rod is the best thing to use.
