Crane Cams 10308-1

Just double checking.

Will these work with the CC503?

yep thats what im running there good all the way up to .600 lift while your at it get some 1.6 from summit the make the cam .533/.546 only extra 150 bucks for a set i think unless u go allluinim. plus ur saving money cause retainers are like 60 bucks for the beehive on top of the 210 price tag on the behives.

Yes, I run them on my 306. The 306 is a bigger cam but with less agressive ramp rates than the 503. Should do just fine.

I was going to go with some 1.6 Proform (#66915) Full Rollers. What kind of horsepower gains would I see with the 1.6 RR's and upgraded valve spring?

I'll be adding a CC503 too, but I want to know how much HP I'll get out of the RR's.

Well it all depends with this setup i have i susposed to put 360 to 370 to wheels with my heads done. If u are going this root with stock heads proably around 330 to 350 at the wheels with cam and springs and full boltons and 1.6rr. A Note You'll get faster ramp rates with 1.6rr at least the alluinim ones. so quicker throttle response. You'll like the setup my buddy has the same setup on his camaro i love it runs 12.66 at 104 with a 3 speed. imhoping to hit 11s on juice.

DO NOT use proform rockers they are CRAP!!!!

The 10308 kit is great with the 503 cam and seems to be a hit amongst the LT1 community. Hell Lloyd even uses them in his LE1 pkg.

I would go with the crane 11746-16 rockers. They claim they will not fit but its only because of 2 reasons and 1 is BS cause I ran them. 1)they are non self aligning and LT1 uses Self aligning, and 2) They supposedly wont clear the valve covers but they DO!!!

i went with the 10308 kit with a 224/224 in my last LT1 and loved it. used GMPP roller rockers from the hotcam kit, got a great deal on them on this site used and they worked great.

ive heard lots of bad news about Proform and a lot of the other "cheaper" LARGE bodied rockers, they dont fit and they break easily.
