Thanks much, I was wondering if they made skinner alternators but yea, grinding on it never really crossed my mind with the use of a tall valve cover.

 

Been a while since I updated this. Got the car up and running and between working out bugs, coordinating car haulers, working out appointments for suspension, tuning, etc., and abnormally cold weather, it's a couple of days away from hitting the streets. It's been around the block a couple of times, but that's about it. Here are a few vids from motor only dyno tune day with Moe. He's awesome and I highly recommend him to anyone needing tuning. He knows these cars so well, he only had to make minor adjustments in person to his mail order tune on a fairly extreme setup.

Once it gets some miles on it, I'll be going back for a nitrous tuning session with my 200HP jets and some Gulf Racing 116.
