Couple of quick pictures
Couple of quick pictures
Just got finished with a long day in the garage and wanted to post a couple of pictures of my build with CZ28.com family. It's an old LTx, but she should move. She's been down since 2006 when I snapped the clutch fork and got the bright idea that if I was going to pull the transmission, I should probably just get the motor rebuilt too.

Update 3/8/14 - Added first dyno videos to last post

Re: Couple of quick pictures

Though I plan on building from another block so I wouldn't be down near as long.

If you're anything like me, no matter which route you go, you'll get a case of the "As long as I'm this far". As long as the intake is off, I may as well have it ported. But what good is a ported intake without a bigger throttle body and head work... But if the heads are already off, I should probably just go ahead and buy some TFS or AFRs instead of working the stockers.

It's amazing how many people are shocked when I tell them how much faster the Camaro will be than the Viper.Thank you.

Re: Couple of quick pictures
Some people say they've gotten away with grinding the back of the alternator down, but that had no chance of working on these. Cutting worked out fantastic and wouldn't do it any other way. When you mock it up, make sure to account for clearance for the rockers as well. That's why mine arcs instead of angling straight back.
