Question A couple questions about a cc 503 install.

So far Ive just bought the cc503 cam and gmmp 1.6 3/8 rr, and im about to order a Crane Cam valve spring set on summit.

P/N 10308-1

Will those springs work for my set up? Also what size of push rods should I get? I was thinking of these

COMP Cams 7808-16 size on these is 7.195

Is set up fine or will I need shorter or longer push rods? And are the springs alright too or will I need any extra parts?

Thanks,

I would not deviate from stock length pushrods until you measured to see what is needed. It's the only way to tell.

those valvesprings SHOULD work great. i had a 224/224 cam with .532/.532 lift with 1.6 rockers and loved how they worked out for me. just make sure you have enough clearance with the cam lift, i forgot how much lift the 503 has.

Those are the exact same springs I used for my cc503 install and they work great.

Another question. Do the ls1 valve springs fit on a lt1 heads? Every model or just certain ones?

you have to get the Retainers and locks aswell to make them fit on an LT.

Ok I am going to be doing the exact same set up...CC503 and I was going to order the Crane dual valve spring kit w/ retainers.
My question is, What spring locators (seats) do I use with these springs?
Anyone happen to have a part # for them along with the valve seals?
I'm ordering parts today, thanks.
