first one is how many volts does a stock coil provide?
how many does the msd? is there way to test if a coil is weak?
im running about 11.2 to 1 compression and wondering if i would benefit at all. at what point do they become beneficial?
next question is do gears only help off the line? like im thinking the only advantage is that you get in your power band faster. so after first gear do they help at all? i cant hook in first on street tires anways so would i not benefit from them?

 

If you have a volt meter do this, this will tell you if the coil is bad



So appx. 8000ohm's is normal for the stock coil altho it may actually be lower than that... the MSD will be lower than that and put out more power
