Couple LT1 problems need help

I have a 96 LT1 with the six speed and i have just under 120,000 miles on it, now on to my problems:
1. Had a crack in my radiator and replaced it, since then if i drive it and get it up to temp and shut it off and then start it before it cools down it will peg the temp gauge and then the coolant backs up and boils out through the overflow. So far ive replaced the rad, both temp sensors, confirmed the fans are working, new GM rad cap, new thermostat, and bled out the air. Any ideas on what could be causing this?
2. Occassionally after i start the car my ABS INOP light and my traction control light will come on and stay on. Any ideas on what this could be?
3. Sometimes when i try to start it the security light will come on and not allow me to try to start it again until the light goes off, sometimes it only does it once, sometimes more, it hasnt done this lately but i would like to fix it. Any ideas on what this could be?

thanks for the help in advance

Generally better to make a separate post for each problem. Not as likely to get answers when you lump them all in one post.

1. What bleeding procedure are you using? What blend of coolant/water are you running?

2. Which "traction control light" comes on?

3. Could be related to the security pellet in the key. Is the key corroded? Are the contacts for the pellet in the ignition switch corroded?

yeah i am starting to think i should have seperated them
1. to bleed it i was filling the rad with the bleeder closest to the thermostat open and continued to fill the rad until it was just up to the bottom of the neck and there was a steady stream of coolant coming from the bleeder and no bubbles or air
2. Its the ASR OFF light or whatever it says, the one that comes on when the turn the traction control off
3. The key and contacts both appear to be clean, i guess getting a new key cut could help that

Your coolant problems sonds like what happened to me in my bird, ther was an air bubble in the t-stat housing that kept it from working right. i just bled it out and got a new t-stat.

yeah, but the other one appears to be on a heater hose and is rather high, i only got a little from that one, i searched for an exact step by step on how to bleed these things and can't find it, everything tells you how important it is to bleed these things out completely but nowhere tells you how to accomplish this

If you're not familiar with Shoebox's LT1 Tech Page, you might want to bookmark if for future reference.

ok guys, finally got this thing fixed after the new rad, new temp sensors, new rad cap, new thermostat, new overflow tank cap and hose, i still couldnt get this thing to stop boiling over so i took to a shop and within two hours of dropping it off they had it fixed, i had somehow got the bypass hose and the overflow hose switched on the rad., i felt like a total retard, but whatever now its fixed and i would have never ever checked that

thanks for all the help guys
