Could someone look at this real quick!
Could someone look at this real quick!
I am in the middle of installing my pacesetter long tubes, and I was wondering if somebody could look at this picture and tell me if this bolt is supposed to be there. I am hoping I did not break the head off one of the manifold bolts. The funny thing is there are 6 open holes where I removed bolts, then this thing sticking out at the very end. It is supposed to be there? The end kind of feels broken. It is right behind the 6th hole on the passenger side. The picture shows it pretty well. I am going to the store to pick up some spark plugs right now, hopefully I'll have some answers when I get back. Thanks alot!

It's the only thing on there, I need to go to a real picture hosting site

Re: Could someone look at this real quick!
I know there are a few extra holes there for some reason. Just put the header up there and see if u have the right 6 holes. If u do then i wouldnt even worry about it. If u took out 6 bolts from the manifold and it came out then u must have the right 6. Let us know.

It's not supposed to be there. It might just be there for a locator, but there is no reason to have it in there. You sould be able to remove it.

P.S. Have fun with that dipstick tube.

I haven't had a chance to take another look at it yet. It looks like I'll just be able to twist it out with some vice grips, though. It doesn't look like I really need to, though. It looks like the headers will fit with it in there. If it does, doesanybody see any reason to even mess with it?
