Could a loose header bolt cause exesive oil use?

Could a loose header bolt cause exesive oil use?
I'm noticed a loose bolt on my driver side exhusr manifold right before I came to work, could this cause an oil leak or the engien to burn more oil then it should?

Only if the muffler bearings have seized.

Seriously though, your exhaust has nothing to do with the oiling system.

No. Excessive oil consumption is usually an indication that it will soon be time for an engine overhaul.
