You can put a in-line noise filter on the stereo power wires and it will help. Can get them at Radio Shak.

Re: could bad plug wires cause this?

i know they have noise filters, but it was not doing this before. it just started about 3 weeks ago. the taylor wires i have on the car have about 50.000 miles on them. i believe the plugs have about the same milage. there also seems to be a slight miss at low/mid rpm thats why i asked if the wires could cause radio interference.
