Exclamation Correct part # an fitting to shrader valve?

Guys I need help. What's the correct part number for the an fitting between the elec fuel pressure sending unit to mate to the shrader valve? I've looked on summit but haven't found it yet? I need the 90* or 180*? It's for a 93 so our location is on the driver side vs being in the back. Thanks for anyone's help.

The best one I have found is the NOS PN 17535 -4AN 90-deg swivel fitting. That's what I used on my 94. Not sure how compatible that is with the 93. And, you still end up with a -4AN connection. My solution was to run a short hose over to a location remote from the engine, to keep the pressure sending unit away from the heat and vibration. You can get a short braided S/S hose with -4AN on one end, and a 1/8" NPT male on the other. Then simply use a 1/8" NPT coupling. There are short hoses of that description available on eBay for about 1/2 of what NOS charges.

Injuneer? Don't I need female to female connection? The sending unit is threaded as well. Thanks for the info I should've just paged you from the beginning.

Fred? Does summit carry that hose you described? I've only seen the -3 an w/ 3/16 ID hose for mechanical pressure sending units. Can't view ebay at the moment I'm at the job.

Closet thing I've found is the kit. SUM-G2960. Think I could get away w/ that?

The 17535 fitting will be -4AN male, so you need a -4AN female hose end. The other end of the hose will be 1/8" NPT male. It will screw directly into a brass 1/8" NPT coupling (a coupling has two female ends). The fuel pressure sensor should be 1/8" NPT male, and screws right into the coupling.

The only -4AN x 1/8" NPT hoses I have seen in a catalog are made by NOS and are 24" long. But a couple of people have shown me a source on eBay where they will make you a hose any length you want, any ends you want. The seemed to have ready-made -4AN x 1/8" NPT in 12" or something like that. About 1/2 the cost of an NOS hose. How long depends where you want to locate the sender unit.

AutoMeter sells a 45-deg and a 90-deg -4AN swivel fitting.

They used to have a conversion from -4AN to 1/8" NPT for their fuel pressure sender, but I can't find it in their new catalog.
