Wow, are you running a 160* Thermostat and still up to 230*F?

I've got a 383 and it is running fine. No higher than 180*F in traffic. I've had my computer programmed and my fans do come on early. Who ever programmed your car may also be able to reprogram your fans.

Air In System?

I had something very similar happen with one of my past lt1 builds. My problem was that I had not properly purged the air out of the cooling system. Just a thought.

A single 3300 would not cool my Griffin setup, but I used a much smaller radiator than factory... I have dual summit puller low profile fans, and its over 100 in Colorado right now and no temps over 180...
