cooling fan wiring

Alright, here's my problem, the previous owner of my car set up a home made fan control switch that appears to route power directly from the battery to the fan

...and although it goes through the fuses/relays box in the front of the drivers side fender well area it doesn't use any fuses or anything of that sort.

The problem i am having is that all of the switches i install in my center console to connect power to the fans last about 2 weeks then they seem to fall apart.

I think they are not rated at a high enough amperage for the task and they heat up and then the switch handle just flops around not being able to make any kind of connections inside the switch.

So i purchased the SLP fan control switch from LMperformance.com but the instructions assume that the fan is setup stock, so after i installed it, it's not working at all... i am certain it is because the fan does not have any power.

Can anyone help me out here? i really need to figure out what to do in order to reverse the home made fan set up so that, the slp one will work and, i can drive home to visit my parents for the holidays.

it's a 94 formula lt1 with the dual electric fans, if anyone has any pictures or can tell me how the fans are wired to the pcm i will really appreciate it

Use the appropriate schematic depending whether you have 2 or 3 fan relays.
