cooling fan issues

I got a problem and i need help. My fans dont kick in like they have to. My car overheats when im at slow speeds and at idle, but when i and driving like on the freeway then i am fine. I need help as in how to bypass system and just have them turn on when they gotta come on. The fans do work when the ac is on. Please help im tired of the overheating!

Re: cooling fan issues

Explain "overheating". A lot of people think they are overheating when they are not. LT1s run warm as stock.

Re: cooling fan issues

Ok not overheating the gauge goes past 210 and if on idle it almost goes to the red. But the fans do not turn on at all unless the AC is on
